The holidays are quickly approaching with Thanksgiving only 10 days away. Each year our parish distributes blessed loaves of various loaves of various tea breads at our Thanksgiving liturgy. It takes many hands helping to bake these small (6″ x 3 5/8″ x 1 7/8″) loaves of pumpkin, cranberry, poppy seed, banana, zucchini, apple, etc. breads. We invite you to be part of this baking tradition.
If you can help bake bread, please contact Mary Poettker by email (robmar.poettker@yahoo.com) or phone (636-441-6642) to let her know how many loaves you will be contributing. Please wrap each loaf individually and label as to the kind of bread and indicate if it has nuts.
Loaves may be dropped off at church before Mass on Thanksgiving morning. If you are unable to attend Mass but are still willing and able to bake bread, arrangements for picking up or delivering the bread can be made by contacting Mary.
Thank you and may you have a blessed Thanksgiving!
