Dear Parents,                         

 

Next Wednesday,  May 5, 2010 is our Last PSR evening! We will conclude our evening with the May Crowning of our Blessed Virgin Mary. Weather permitting, it will be outdoors. You are most welcome to stay and pray with us!  To honor our Blessed Mother, please have your child(ren) bring a REAL flower to present to her next week. You may take your children home after the May Crowning if you wish.

 

RE-REGISTRATION

 

The 2010-2011 PSR re-registration forms are to be mailed home shortly. You are asked to make any necessary corrections to the forms and return them.  Please re-register please BEFORE June 15th, to avoid the late re-registration fee. Also, please remember, session preference is on a first-received basis of the 2010-2011 registration forms.  The PSR office will be closed the most of the month of June and all of July.

 

CONFIRMATION  SERVICE  HOURS

 

The 7^th graders were given the Confirmation Service Hour form this evening. They are required to complete 10 hours of service before the end of the year. VBS is an excellent way to satisfy this requirement. Some other possible suggestions are listed as well.

 

ALL  PARISH  MEETING

 

The Parish Council is sponsoring an All Parish Meeting on May 19th in the Parish Hall at 7:00 PM. The purpose of the meeting is explore how our parish family can Worship, Invite and Nourish more effectively both collectively within our parish organizations as well as on a personal basis. The meeting is open to all parish commissions as well as parishioners at large. We invite you to share your observations and experiences from our parish and/or other parishes you have attended. The output of this meeting will be a report back to the parish with key ideas gathered as to how we can serve Our Lord more faithfully and effectively.

Your involvement is deeply appreciated. May you be blessed abundantly for your tireless efforts and dedicated support! In the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, thank you and I pray that you have a safe, happy, and refreshing summer.
