CEREAL DRIVE FOR CHRISTMAS FOOD BASKETS

Thank you to all that have so generously given to the cereal drive again this year. We are still taking donations from now until December 3 if anyone still would like to donate. Thanks to the people in our parish ongoing generosity, along with other donators, we have been able to contribute over 30,000 boxes of cereal since this program began. With Monsignor Gettinger’s leadership and desire to serve the poor, over 3,000 food baskets each year are delivered to the poor and sick over the past 40 years.

We are looking for volunteers to help load and deliver the cereal to the distribution point on December 4 to the Covenant House at Kingshighway and Maffit.
As in the past, on Saturday, December 14, we will again be driving to Msgr. Bob’s distribution center to fill and deliver baskets for the poor throughout the area as part of the Christmas Food Basket Program. Every parishioner is welcome to start his/her season of giving early by meeting at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton at 9:00 am, then caravan to Msgr. Bob’s Mission.

If anyone can help pick up the cereal and deliver, or have questions about the Saturday December 14th gathering, please call Kevin Cleary at 314-402-2422.
